When to go to the beaches of Aljezur?
To make the most of Aljezur’s various beaches, we recommend going between the months of June and August, which is the summer season in Europe. We do not recommend visiting the region between the months of October to February, as these are the months with the most rain there.
How to get to Aljezur?
To get to Aljezur, you can leave from the capital Lisbon, which is located 250 km from the beaches. There are a few options:
- It is possible to go by car on a journey of around 3 hours along the main road of Costa Vicentina
- You can take a bus for a journey of approximately 3 and a half hours at a cost of around 20 euros.
- There is also the option of flying to Faro airport. From there you must travel by bus, combine with the train or continue by car.
