Praia da Coelha beach

Praia da Coelha beach is one of the most visited beaches in the Algarve. It is a small beach with calm seas, surrounded by cliffs and lots of bushes. In the summer it attracts a lot of people, getting quite crowded. Despite being small, the beach has infrastructure services, such as umbrella rental. There are also bars and restaurants around.

How to get to Praia da Coelha beach?

This beach is located 6.3 km, by road, west of the center of Albufeira’s old town, and 50 km west of the region’s capital, Faro. Access is from the road that connects Guia to the town of Galé. Just follow the signs to the beach. There is a medium-sized car park 400 meters from the beach.

Where to stay at Praia da Coelha?

There are two hotels closer to Praia da Coelha. Hotel Baía Grande is located 700 meters from the beach and offers good value for money accommodation. The Hapimag Resort Albufeira is more luxurious and is located just 300 meters from Praia da Coelha.
